We currently have an opening for a dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing in Union Gap, WA at our Parkside Care Center location. This is a perfect position for a creative nurse with a flair for management, organization, teaching, and communication.
As a facility leader the DNS is responsible for managing the operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policy, accepted standards of nurse practice, and regulation. Problem solving, systems analysis, and planning for improvement are critical success factors.

Education, training, experience:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or a Diploma in Nursing. Must have a current, unencumbered RN license. Minimum of four years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems and pharmacies. Two years in supervisory/management position, with experience with budgets, staff development, training and scheduling. Additional course work in management an asset.
